Responsibilities:

• Depending on his or her experience and specialties, the mechanic will be called upon to perform various maintenance and repair work on customers' vehicles
• Observe the operation of engines in operation, test the vehicles on the road - Identify the causes of defects or malfunctions and verify diagnoses
• Repair or replace defective components or parts using hand or power tools
• Test and adjust components to specifications to ensure proper operation
• Complete reports to record defects and work performed

Requirements:

• Professional experience in automotive mechanics (required)
• Transmission specialist (a strong asset)
• DEP in automotive mechanics (an asset)
• Valid Parity Committee (CPA) Competency Card (an asset)
• Certification as a 2nd or 3rd class technician (an asset)
• Valid Quebec driver's license
• Concern for work well done and keen sense of observation
• Tool box
• Bilingual
• Good physical condition
