Body Shop Estimator

The Centre De Collision Ile Perrot, a member of the Groupe Autoforce, is looking for an Estimator to join our body shop team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of automotive repairs and damage assessment processes.

Our body shop will be moving to a brand new building in late summer 2023. There will be new offices, a break room and a kitchen for the employees, as well as brand new equipment!

Responsibilities:

• Examine and assess damage on the damaged vehicle to determine necessary repairs
• Prepare damage estimates, repair work orders and repair cost estimates for customers and insurance companies
• Plan the work to be done according to established priorities and deadlines
• Track estimates, completion times and costs for each repair
• Collaborate with the body shop team to ensure exceptional customer service and follow-up
• Oversee the repair of vehicles in collaboration with managers to ensure timely delivery

Profile and qualifications required:

• Relevant experience in auto collision estimating or a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in French and English)
• Knowledge of automotive repair and damage assessment processes
• Ability to work as a team and collaborate effectively with other team members
• A positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of automotive damage estimation software (Audatex, Mitchell, etc.)
